So on the Sunday shows, the administration’s new talking point is “working together” – “the parties have to work together and stop pointing fingers” I hear. That’s all well and good, but I didn’t hear them saying that two months ago. It’s like your brother smacking you on the back of the head, and when you go to punch him for it he yells “Mom says don’t hit” loud enough for Mom to hear. Oh yeah, that’s working together. I wonder to myself sometimes – Do they really think we’re that dumb? They must or they wouldn’t even try it. And there are those who buy the lies over and over again. Unfortunately for the administration and the Democrats, “you can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can’t fool all the people all the time.”

The attempts to promote a liberal agenda, and secure “social justice” have utterly failed. Unemployment is chronically high and likely to remain so, housing prices have fallen and many mortgages are underwater. Our debt has increased at an unprecedented pace, and our deficit is at an historic high. It has gone from 167 billion in 2007 to 1.4 trillion today. Inflation is coming and our dollar is falling. For the first time in history, we no longer have a triple A credit rating.

Some ask is the president doing this on purpose? One has to wonder. How could one man do everything so completely wrong for the economy, with such disastrous results, and yet still keep right on doing the same – demonizing and deflecting all the while? Ever heard of Cloward and Piven? I bet he has. How about his meetings with George Soros who has poured millions of dollars into elections, the media, Acorn, etc? Is Mr. Soros’ saying that he wants to see a “managed decline” of the US dollar a coincidence, especially when he has already “managed” the “decline” of several other currencies? This isn’t conspiracy theory, it’s fact and it’s easy enough to find information on. Or perhaps the President just naively believes in the social democratic model he learned of in Harvard, and just doesn’t have the real world experience to understand why that won’t work. Perhaps it’s one or the other or both, but the results are the same, they have been a disaster for this country, and we haven’t even seen the worst of it yet.

We do NOT need to work together on programs and policies that cause harm to our nation. Americans have always stood up against the conventional wisdom and the Washington elites to prevent too much foolishness from happening. “Whenever things get so far wrong as to attract their notice, they (the American people) may be relied on to set them to rights. ” Said Thomas Jefferson. This is what has preserved our prosperity, this is what makes us different, and yes – better, than other nations. If our nation is to continue to be a beacon of freedom it will be because we protected it. If our country is to continue to be a force for good in the world it is up to us. Write, call, campaign, vote – do whatever it is in your power to do to see our nation preserved. I have faith that our – “We the People’s” – common sense can prevail once again.
